The Rev. Virginia Musselman, Director

Virginia Musselman was ordained to the diaconate in the Anglican Mission in the Americas in 2011 and transferred to the Anglican Church in North America in 2014 in the Diocese of the Carolinas. She holds an MDiv from Regent Divinity and has served multiple churches in Virginia and North Carolina as deacon and Associate Pastor. She helped found the Women’s Leadership Network in 2019 and has served as its director since 2023. Virginia is passionate about building bridges where there are differences and helping women find their voice and value in God. 

She and her husband John have been married for 12 years, have three young children and live in Little Rock, Arkansas where she is co-planting a Christ-centered church built on mutual relationships between men and women. She insists that spending time outdoors, thrift shopping, British mysteries and baking cookies are among the most effective stress relievers. Contact Virginia.

Anthea Kotlan

Anthea Kotlan has a passion for discipling women in their gifts and calling. With a Master’s degree in English, Anthea has used her communication and teaching skills to organize and speak at annual retreats in the Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast. Together with her husband, Fr. Bill Kotlan, she serves low-resource communities with literacy and development initiatives through a non-profit they helped start. They planted All Saints Church in Conroe, Texas, where she creates social media content and disciples women. Kathleen Rankin

Kathleen Rankin has served Christ’s Church in many capacities for the last 4 decades.  She is passionate about leadership development and longs to see women take their place in leading a healthier Church.  Kathleen graduated from Trinity Anglican Seminary with an MDiv and a doctoral degree, and currently serves as Assisting Priest at LifeSong Anglican, Canon in the Diocese of the Great Lakes overseeing the Vocations Committee, Chair of the Board of Christians for Biblical Equality International,  and has served on the Provincial Board of Inquiry and Trial Court. She serves the Women’s Leadership Network by training facilitators and hosting Storying Groups. The Rankins have been blessed with four grown children and now live with an animal menagerie on their farm in Ohio.  Contact Kathleen.

Cn. Shelly Sorem

Canon Shelly Sorem serves as Assistant Director of New Wineskins Missions Network and is a deacon in the Diocese of the Western Gulf Coast. She holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology. She serves on the Women’s Leadership Network within the Anglican Church in North America’s Provincial Leadership Network, on her diocesan women’s ministry team, and holds the role of Canon for Global Missions in her diocese. In addition, Canon Sorem serves as Vice President on the Provincial Council for the Order of the Daughters of the Holy Cross and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Trinity Anglican Seminary. She is deeply committed to advancing global missions and is passionate about seeing the name of Jesus proclaimed to the ends of the earth. She regularly leads women’s conferences and retreats both nationally and internationally and is dedicated to fostering collaboration among Anglican organizations to further the Kingdom of God. Shelly and her husband, Bill, have been married for 34 years. They have two daughters, two sons-in-law, and four grandchildren.
